Why is there no service fee to automate sending recognition gifts for employees with Lumi?

Lumi for business gifting is free by driving more engagement to our commercial vendors at volume, we take a small percentage of the sales. However, we do charge a processing fee on incoming card payment. For example, if it costs $1000 to send gifts to your employees for month of January, we will charge 2.9% + $0.30 of that $1000, which is $29 + $0.30 = $29.30. There is no fee for ACH direct debit with Lumi.

Can employees pick more than one gift?

Yes. Recipients can select one or more items up to the budget you set, so recognition feels personal without overspending. For example, if the employee's gift has a budget of $200, they can add as many items as they like until the items add up to $200.

What employee moments can Lumi automate?

Welcome to the team, work anniversaries, birthdays, spot recognition, holidays, and personal milestones. You can also send a one-off gift any time, for one recipient or thousands of recipients.

How does Lumi save money on employee recognition?

Do managers get to write personal notes?

Yes. Lumi reminds managers to leave a personal message before a gift is scheduled, so automation does not erase the human touch.

Can the company get refunded if a gift is expired?

Yes. The organization can set a duration after which the gift expires. If unredeemed, the credits are returned to the organization. For example, if an employee forgets to redeem a gift with a $50 budget, that $50 goes back to the organization's available fund.
